How To End Insecurity In Nigeria – CBN Governor

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Sanusi Lamido Sanusi
The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Sanusi Lamido Sanusi on Wednesday said huge spending on security and use of guns by security forces would not guarantee security of lives and property of Nigerians.
The governor said this in a lecture paper he delivered at the Abia Youth Empowerment Summit in Umuahia.
He called for a more proactive measure to curb insurgency in the country, stressing that government owe it a duty to provide means of livelihood for the citizens.
“No matter how much we spend in security, no matter how many guns we give to security forces, there will not be security until these people have food on their table.
“Addressing security problems without addressing the fundamental economic causes is only a short-term measure.
“Yesterday it was Niger Delta militancy, today it is Boko Haram, tomorrow it will be something else. We have to address the problem of youth and their future across the country.”
He also advocated “difficult” structural reforms to grow the nation’s economy to scale.
He noted that more than 90 percent of religious, social, and political crises in the country had their roots in the economy.
“It’s about unemployment; it’s about poor infrastructure; it’s about an economy that is essentially dysfunctional; this is a country that imports what it can produce and exports what it does not produce.
“So the solution is simple. It’s about the difficult structural reforms that are required to grow the economy on scale.”
The dignitaries at the event included former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara and the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Emeka Wogu, among others.

The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) may not hold in troubled Northern states on Saturday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said on Wednesday.

The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) may not hold in troubled Northern states on Saturday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said on Wednesday.

Addressing Journalists in Abuja, the Registrar/Chief Exec utive of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Dibu Ojerinde, said the board “may not hesitate to stop the examination” if there is any security problem”.
He said, “Yesterday it was a big discussion among some agents as well as JAMB. We believe that things will be alright. Faith, you see, we have the belief that we will surmount the problem.
“If however, there is any problem, we may not hesitate to stop the examination in those areas to the extent that we will now give the children a chance of doing the examination on CBT only.
“If you miss PPT in a challenging area that you cannot do the examination; then you will have to do the next one and that will have to be as from 18th of May.
“With God, we shall not experience any problem. We have put everything humanly possible in place and we have put this before almighty God and we believe He is not going to sleep on that day. But if there is a need for postponement in those places, we shall not hesitate”, he added.
Mr Ojerinde revealed that the Board had concluded arrangements for its first Computer Based Test in 70 centres across the nation from May 18 to June 1.
This is an alternative to the Dual Based Test and Paper Pencil Test scheduled for this Saturday.
He, however, added that the CBT candidates still have the option to take Dual Based Test or Paper Pencil Test on Saturday.
The Board advised CBT candidates to go online to reprint their e-slip form as “inevitable amendments had been made on the time-table for the CBT examination”.
Of the 1,735,720 registered for this year’s examination, 1,629,102 candidates applied for PPT; 15,008 for DBT and 91,610 for CBT. The total figure represents 13.35 percent increase from last year.
No fewer than 145 visually impaired candidates and 196 inmates from Kaduna and Lagos prisons also registered for the examination.
The examination will hold simultaneously in 3,168 centres in 378 towns in Nigeria and six foreign centres of Accra (Ghana), Buea in Cameroon, Cotonou in Republic of Benin, London, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Johannesburg in South Africa.
Mr Ojerinde disclosed that candidates have the opportunity to change their choices of institutions and courses once only within two weeks after releasing the results.
He also warned that the officials caught in examination malpractices will be prosecuted.
“I want to sound a note of warning once more that those trying to compromise our well organised arrangement shall be made to face the full wrath of the law.
“The Board is hereby appealing to all candidates to strictly adhere to all laid -down rules by conducting themselves properly during the examination.”

Central Bank Of Nigeria, CBN Stops Polymer Currency Notes – Paper Notes Coming Soon

Central Bank Of Nigeria, CBN Stops Polymer Currency Notes – Paper Notes Coming Soon

cbn polymer currency notes
April 23, 2013 - Central Bank Of Nigeria, CBN To Stop Printing Polymer Currency Notes – Paper Notes Coming Soon
Starting from this week, the Central Bank Of NigeriaCBN has stopped the production of Polymer currency notes.
The move came due to complaints that polymer currency notes fade away with time.
People who take public transport or those who buy or sell goods in the market can testify to it.
Here what the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Tunde Lemo said in a recent interview;
We will start to produce the second generation of lower denomination notes, now in paper not in polymer. My plea is that Nigerians should exercise patience with us; it wasn’t the fault of the CBN, it was just because we had to go back to the drawing board to rethink `Project Cure’ in the light of the wish of the public that we should not go ahead with the N5000 notes and lower denomination. We will correct that in the course of the year. Polymer certainly will be phased out. In fact, we are phasing out polymer.  No new note is being printed in polymer now

Nigerian Actress Eucharia Anunobi: Being An Evangelist Doesn`t Stop My Acting Career

actress Eucharia Anunobi evangelist
April 22, 2013 – Actress Eucharia Anunobi: Being An Evangelist Doesn`t Stop My Acting Career
Nollywood actress turned full-time evangelistEucharia Anunobi has vowed not to abandon heracting career for a full-time ministerial work.
The actress who was ordained an evangelist a while back did a question and answer section where curious fans ask her several questions.
See her response to some questions below
Why would Nigerians, my own people, think in the direction that i have either stopped acting or would never feature in any movie because of my calling and ordination as an EVANGELIST? As if ACTORS are sinners?
What is the job of acting all about in the first instance? And what are the roles and responsibilities of an Evangelist? Dissemination of INFORMATION right???????
I think everyone should try to grab a copy of GOD OF SHILOH AND GOD OF ZION, then, the MESSAGE about the relationship between Acting and Evangelism would be clearer to US.
WARNING!!!!!!! I will never answer questions from anyone, concerning this issue anymore.

Late Nigerian Rapper Dagrin Remembered 3 Years After His Death

April 22, 2013 – Late Nigerian Rapper Dagrin Remembered 3 Years After His Death
Late Nigerian rapper Olaitan Oladapo popularly called Dagrin who died in a fatal car accident on the 22nd of April 2010 has been remembered.
Pictured to the right above is the decorated photo of his accident car….
Though the rapper had earlier predicted his own death in a very controversial song he released few weeks before his untimely death.
The lyrics of the song states;
“If I die, make you no cry for me, e je n simi… (let me rest).
And when he eventually died, the rumour that he predicted his own death was rife.
Below is what the producer of Dagrin’s death song, Frenzy said;
He came to the studio that day as usual. After I had finished recording with some people, I played the beat of the song to him and he loved it. So he decided to do freestyle on it first, with the hope of coming back later to perfect it. But unfortunately, we didn’t have the time until his accident and eventual death. Dagrin never knew he was going to die. It was just a coincidence,” Frenzy said.
May his soul rest in perfect peace!

D’banj – ‘My Mum Can Call Me If She Finds The Right Woman For Me’

D’banj told Seun Apara of Thisday Magazine he’s actually searching for someone to settle down with but he has not found his choice yet, his words below:
Dbanj-Copy

have dated a lot of women but I don’t really
want to talk about them because most of
them have moved on and some are married. I
don’t have any regret at all because I am still
young and I am still a bachelor though my
mum wants me to settle down.

She is proud of me and I do let her
understand that it’s not that I don’t want to
marry, I just haven’t found the right woman.
If she finds the right one for me, she can call
me,”

That’s curious…because in his January
interview with Toolz on Ndani TV, D’banj
said he was happily dating a very special
lady who has been with him for a while. Fast
forward to his interview today with Seun
Apara of Thisday,

We all know which female body parts men most frequently like to explore, but there is more to her than a vagina, breasts and butt. The largest amount of nerve endings may be packed into those areas, but she has pleasure sensors all over her body, and getting her in the mood may be as easy as stimulating some of these often-neglected parts. Incorporating touching these places into foreplay and sex, or just giving her some pleasure after a hard day, will definitely earn you some brownie points.

1. Hair
Maintaining their gorgeous locks isn’t the only reason women go to their hairstylists so often. The process of wash, cut, color, and styling can actually be quite a stress reliever. Running your hands gently through her hair is a surefire way to send tingles down her spine. Let your fingers massage circles from her temples to the nape of her neck and she’ll be putty in your hands.

2. Nape of her neck
Once you get to the nape of her neck, place a few light kisses there. In ancient Japan, the back of a woman’s neck was seen as very attractive by men since it was one of the few places not covered by clothing. In modern times, the nape of the neck is often neglected in favor of more obvious pleasure centers, but never underestimate the power of gentle touches and kisses from her hairline to her shoulders.

3. Clavicle
A well-defined clavicle, or collarbone, can be very sexy on a woman. Why not show your appreciation for its beauty with your touch and kiss? Pay attention to this body part while she’s still fully clothed, unbuttoning her shirt just enough to reveal the clavicle and no further. You can always come back to it once the clothes have disappeared as well to remind her of the anticipation it created when you started there.

4. Small of her back
The best way to guide your woman through a crowd is to place your hand against the small of her back. This small gesture shows that you feel protective of her without being too pushy like an arm around the shoulder might be. When you’re alone, kissing or licking down her spine to end up with a kiss on the small of her back will get her heart racing.

We have more places women want to be touched after the jump...

5. Behind her knees
This area is one that most men don’t think of when trying to stimulate a woman, but it is, in fact, quite sensitive. Gently caressing the back of the knee under her skirt while the two of you are in a public place will make her ready to get busy once you get home. Don’t forget to pay some more attention to this special spot once you’re alone too.

6. Palms of her hands
People often use their hands as tools to please their partners, but rarely do they consider the pleasure potential of stimulating the hands themselves. The palm of a woman’s hand is an innocuous spot to focus a little attention on without making people around you uncomfortable. Tracing your finger along her palm will give her delightful shivers and make you appear sensitive and attentive.

7. Earlobes
Touching, kissing and even lightly biting the earlobes of your woman will up the bliss factor for her. These delicate, soft lobes are very sensitive and most women thoroughly enjoy the sensation of having a man’s lips on them. You can nibble around the outside of the rest of her ear as well, but for courtesy’s sake avoid jamming your tongue inside her ear.

8. Feet
Pulp Fiction taught us that rubbing the feet of another man’s wife may be an offense punishable by being thrown out a window, so the sensual appeal of a foot massage is obvious. There are few better ways to help her relax than to give her feet a good rub, especially if her job requires her to be on them all day. Do it right and grab some massage oil or lotion. Don’t forget to pay some attention to her toes, ankles and the sides of her feet too. Some women really enjoy having their toes sucked, but others find it repulsive, so asking first is a good idea before putting them in your mouth.

9. Inner thighs
Touching her inner thighs without venturing into the vaginal area will make for an excellent tease that is sure to get her revved up. Use your hands and mouth to caress and kiss the insides of her thighs, getting excruciatingly close to her ultimate pleasure spot, but pulling back before going all the way.

10. Pelvis
Concentrating some affection on her pelvis is a great idea, however, you’ll have to resist the urge to slip down to her vagina while you’re so close. Like teasing her inner thighs, kissing and licking around her pelvis will excite her until she’s begging for more. Prolong the sensation by leaving the region to focus on another body part for a while.

11. Do Go There
Every inch of her body is covered with nerve endings that could be stimulated, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have some no-go places. Some women can’t stand to have their faces touched, while others find it unbearable if their hands are tickled. As you explore, you’ll learn which places your touch has the best effect on and which you should avoid.
